Job Description
Job Purpose
As a Network Quality Engineer, you will independently lead the measurement, analysis, and reporting of network performance across domains (RAN, Core, Transmission, Power, Data Centre, VAS, Billing). You will proactively identify performance gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track cross-domain network KPIs and SLAs.
- Analyze network quality using advanced tools and data analytics.
- Generate performance reports and actionable insights.
- Investigate customer complaints using CEM platforms and correlate with technical metrics.
- Conduct impact analyses for incidents and upgrades.
- Develop and enforce QoS policies aligned with industry standards.
- Operate and maintain performance monitoring tools (e.g. NOC, CEM, OSS).
- Propose data-driven network efficiency improvements.
- Drive innovation and implement AI/ML models for enhanced fault management.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a telecom operator or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Deep understanding of telecom network architecture (RAN, Core, Transmission).
- Experience with QoS, QoE, and Service Quality Engineering.
- Excellent communication and executive-level reporting skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, and telecom-specific platforms.
