Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to, attends, resolves real time traffic affecting network faults as given by the NOC whilst complying to timelines stipulated in the PnPs.
- Gives feedback on fault resolution to NOC, while escalating challenges to Team leader according to PnP.
- Performs BSS & Transmission routine checks-telecom and passive equipment and fuel availability.
- Complies with Spares Management System SLA and Asset Movement requirements.
- Manage the performance of regional sites at required levels.
- Achieve regional site revenue targets on 4G,3G,2G and Wi-Fi.
- Liaises with external parties on outstanding network affecting issues – ZESA, Powertel, Liquid Telecom, TelOne, ZTE etc.
- BSC and RNC monitoring, compiling statistics and comparing with set KPIs to ensure network availability.
- Identifying areas where there are network quality issues and making necessary recommendations.
- Performs installation, configuration and integration of new network nodes and devices – LTE, 2G,3G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Base Stations, BSC, RNC and Transmission equipment as requested according to issued IWO.
